I just found your comment in moderation (you can tell that I update a lot, too!
) and ventured over. That RelientK song hit me hard the first time I heard it and has been a reminder ever since of particular pain and amazing forgiveness in the face of atrocious behavior. It just sums it up perfectly.

We can never take back that which has already happened. We can only change the way we view the past, but never can it be undone. For once the moment has passed, it is forever lost and should be honored, not regretted.
